Road Safety Engineering

Road Safety Engineering aims to create a safer environment for all road users and to help reduce the severity and number of casualties that result from collisions.

PAF, on behalf of Highway Authorities, Consultancies and Developers conduct in-depth studies and collision analysis at sites where there is a poor collision record or road safety problem. Economical justification, such as collision savings and reduced journey times, will be ascertained, and where appropriate PAF will recommend suitable engineering remedial measures to address the problem.
